Today we will discuss pen pals. And I know this is an interesting topic, since I just went from a website full of people building/destroying stuff and now I’m educating you on pen pals! Funny how that works out right? Anyway, the reason I’m doing this is because I have a pen pal. Yes get your pen pal, free if you call now! So now I’m going to write about it. Talk about just saying what you mean.
First, let’s talk about the advantages of pen pals. First and foremost, it’s just fun to see the mistakes and accomplishments of others. And secondly, it can get you educated in another?state or even a different country. Because of this, you could find out what the area is like and maybe even?move there. Just a suggestion to keep in mind. It’s also a great way to socialize! Now, show of hands, how many of you are moms that have? kids that are?glued to the TV screen. Like some of my friends. And I know at least one person is one of those moms. Or you could be one of those parents that keep their kid locked up in a closet because you’re afraid of “bad influences”. Pen pals offer a safe environment, and a social life. And if you don’t like talking to strangers, or even e-mailing or calling them you can just ask your parents (or tell your kids) about any kids their age. Like my mom did.
Now onto my pen pal. I mean, that’s the big story right? Heh heh, I knew that would be your reaction. I’ve had a pen pal for over about a month, and he’s a boy my age. His name is Joel and he lives in Florida. And I’m stuck in a cold little town, while he lives in a nice sunny home with 75 degrees! So yeah, you could say I’m a little jealous of my pen pal right?now. We have a lot of the same interests, which is good. It helps to get a pen pal that has the same interests as you. Or if you’re one of those people that loves construction but also stays glued to your X Box, then different can be good too. And especially for home schooled children. It’s hard for them to have a social life, since they don’t go to public school. And I speak from a kid’s point of view in the middle of the school year, it can get lonely. Real lonely.?Hugely lonely! Super colossal, oh you get the idea. And it all comes back to socializing.
Now the way I got a pen pal was from my mom, she has a friend on Face Book who has a son. And well, you know, everybody gets on Face Book. So just ask your parents for a pen pal! Other ways are just asking your friends, online games (not the best idea though), Face Book, Twitter or just typing in “pen pal websites” on Google. There are many ways beyond that, but I’m beyond the point of caring at the moment to mention them. Anyway, pen pals can be fun. That’s kind of stating the obvious, but it is the truth. They can be great social lives, and even friends that you drive to see if you move there. Or, you know, you just have a RV and a lot of free time.

Today we will discuss the movie Starwars Revenge of the Sith. SWRS was released on May 19, 2005. This was the sixth Starwars?movie to be made, and the third in the prequel trilogy. It was the last movie to be made and and made over $848 million world wide. This is the second highest grossing film of 2005, only behind Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is my favorite Starwars movie ever. Mainly because, for once, the bad guys actually win this one. This is the only fair movie I’ve seen. It’s fair (in my opinion) because the bad guys win, but the main good guy characters survive. Because of that, the Rebellion is able to be?born. In the next paragraphs I will discuss the plot of the movie.
The Galactic Republic is still on the verge of collapse, after being at war with the Seperatists for three years. The Republic mounts a rescue mission at the beginning of the movie in order to save Chancellor Palpatine. Anakin (who is now a?Jedi Knight) and Obi-Wan (who is a Jedi Master)?are sent to rescue the Chancellor from the cyborg?General Grevious. Palpatine?is being?held on Grevious’ ship, so they begin a space battle so the Jedi can infiltrate the ship. The Jedi succeed in getting on the ship, and set out to find the Chancellor. They find him, and see he is handcuffed to a chair. Count Dooku then arrives on the scene and duels Obi-Wan and Anakin. I won’t tell you who wins, just because I don’t want to spoil it for you.
The Jedi are captured after the duel and are sent to General Grevious, who is still on the ship. The Jedi escape capture and duel Grevious’ body guards. After killing them the Jedi make for Grevious, but Grevious smashes the window and escapes in an escape pod. Anakin then has to pilot the ship down to Courascant, where you will have to watch the movie to see if he makes it.
This movie is a very good one. I would watch the movie just to know what happens after my brief plot review. It ends typically, which you might have guessed. But the movie is full of surprises, some bigger than others. But as I said before, this movie is worth watching. I hope you enjoy it!

Today we will discuss the movie Starwars Attack of ?The Clones. But before I get into that, I would just like to wish everyone a happy new year. Now, onto the movie.?This movie was released on May 16, 2002. This movie made $310,676,740 in the United States and $338,721,588 overseas. Even though it made that much, it was not the number one movie of the year. It was only outdone by Spider-Man, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I’m a big fan of Starwars, but I also love Harry Potter and Marvel. So this news came to me as a mild shock, not a big one. In the next paragraphs I will discuss the plot of this movie.
This movie takes place ten years after the invasion of Naboo. The young Anakin Skywalker is now ?twenty years old and a Jedi?apprentice (or padawan, use which ever you choose) of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is now a Jedi Knight. But?while on her way to Coruscant, Padm? Amidala (who is also the Queen of Naboo and senator) narrowly escapes an assassination attempt twice. On the first assination attempt, her decoy ship blows up with the decoy queen.?The second time poisonous bugs crawl into her room. Obi-Wan and Anakin sensed something was wrong in Padm?’s room and went inside.?Anakin saw the bugs and?cut them down to size while?Obi-Wan jumped on the droid that was delivering the bugs. Anakin then goes to follow his master and then they both chase the?bounty hunter.?And?his is all happening while the former Jedi Master, Count Dooku (also known as Tyranus), is building the Seperatist army up with some new improvements. The Republic is now on the brink of war, and have no army to defend themselves with. This is?the problem?Obi-Wan is about to fix after finding a lead?to the bounty hunter who killed the woman trying to assassinate Padm?.
On the ocean planet of Kamino, Obi-Wan finds a likely suspect (who turns out to be the correct person who killed the woman trying to assassinate Padm? ) and finds that there is a clone army waiting to be launched.?But meanwhile Anakin is ordered to escort Padm? to her home planet of Naboo, so that she may be safe. Anakin has fallen in love with Padm?, but?Padm? hides??her feelings for him because it is forbidden for a Jedi to love.?Meanwhile?Obi-Wan follows the bounty hunter to Geonosis, where he learns that it is the Seperatist capital planet of the time. He also learns that the Seperatists are building a?Super Battle Droid, an improved?version of the?cowardly battle droids they used to use.?While investigating, Obi-Wan is captured and Anakin and Padm? set off to rescue him. They too are captured, and the Jedi Order come to their aid. A battle breaks out against the Jedi and the new Super Battle Droids and the other droids.
I’m going to leave my plot review at that, just because I don’t want to spoil the ending. It was a good movie by my standards, and I recommend it to any Starwars fan. For the full plot, make sure to visit Wikipedia.

Today we will discuss?Starwars:?The Phantom Menace. SWTPM is the first movie?in the prequel trilogy to the original trilogy. This movie was released?on May 19,?1999 and was the fourth Starwars movie to be made. This movie (in my opinion) is the base?to the rise of the Sith in the Starwars movies. We knew the Sith were out there, but the Jedi didn’t. After this movie, the Sith become a known threat throughout the galaxy. Before this movie, the Sith were thought to be extinct. That just goes to show how often the Jedi are right. In the next?paragraphs I will go over the main plot of the movie.
In this movie, the Galactic Republic is in a state of decline. Trade routes are being attacked, the economy is devastated and the Trade Federation have built a blockade around the peaceful world of Naboo. Hoping to resolve the matter of this blockade, the Supreme Chancellor sends the two Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi to neogotiate with the Trade?Federation.?Obi-Wan is Qui-Gon’s Padawan, but later becomes a Jedi Knight in the?following movies. By sending the two Jedi, the Chancellor hopes to neogotiate the freedom of Naboo with Nute Gunray. Nute Gunray is the Viceroy of the Trade Federation and is one of Darth Sidious’s pawns in his plan of destroying the Jedi and the Galactic Republic. Darth Sidious then orders Nute Gunray to launch an army of battle droids onto Naboo and to kill the Jedi. The Jedi escape to Naboo where Qui-Gon rescues the Gungan Jar Jar Binks. Qui-Gon then persuades Jar Jar to take them to his peoples’ kingdom where Qui-Gon is able to convince the Gungan king to grant them a ship. Qui-Gon then goes to the surface of Naboo to rescue Queen Amidala. Succeeding in rescuing the queen, Qui-Gon has to take the ship to Tatooine for repairs.
After several things in between (you’ll have to watch the movie to find out what happened), Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan go to Naboo to stop the Trade Federation?invasion. While there, they meet and fight the Sith apprentice Darth Maul. Meanwhile, Queen Amidala is able to convince the Gungans to help fight the battle droids to save Naboo. To find out what happens next, you’ll have to watch the movie.
Well, there you have it. That’s the plot for the?movie with a few details. But you’ll have to watch the movie to find out the rest, and you won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t disappointed with that Starwars movie, or with any of the others. Heck, I haven’t been disappointed with any Starwars products I’ve bought! I really enjoyed this movie, and I hope you do to.
There’s always been a conflict between the Jedi and the Sith, everywhere. People always have different opinions about which one is better. I’m voting for the Sith, just because I think they have way better force powers. But what do you think? Contact us to tell us which you think is better. Jedi or Sith? You choose.

Today I am going to start a Starwars marathon. We all know Starwars, the universe created by George Lucas. It started with comics and movies, now they’re writing books and making video games! But I plan to cover all of that in my Starwars marathon. If?there’s anything Starwars that you want to hear about, just comment or contact us to tell us what you want to hear. In the next paragraph, I am going to tell you when Starwars was?first started and what it started as. Did it start as a comic or a movie?
The Starwars series was actually only going to be one movie, but then George Lucas thought that he needed more movies to describe the Starwars universe fully. He was then going to make two more trilogies and add two more movies to the current?trilogy he was already writing. So in reality, he was writing the middle story and planning to write the beginning and end trilogies later. Now?I know most of you are saying that there are only two trilogies, and you’re right. George must have decided that he only needed two trilogies because of the popularity that grew when people began writing comics and books about his hit movie series. And if you must know, Starwars started out as a movie (A New Hope) released on May 25, 1977. As of 2008, the six Starwars movies alone generated a box office revenue of approximately $4.3 billion. Thus making it the third highest grossing film series, behind only the James Bond and Harry Potter series.
Now isn’t that a shocker, 4.3 billion dollars. And that’s not even including the books, comics, multiple TV series and video games! That’s just the six movies! And I can tell you that the books, comics, multiple TV series and video games probably made him 2 billion dollars. That would be my guess. Which means that he probably has enough money to give a dollar to every person in the world. That’s?6.3 billion dollars folks, imagine what you could do with 6.3 billion dollars. That’s my guess of what he made, what’s yours??If you think he made more or less, please don’t hesitate to reply or contact us to tell us your guess. And?may the force be with you.
The information I found was from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars, and it was very helpful. For much more information, just go to Wikipedia and type in “Starwars”.
