Starwars Marathon

Today I am going to start a Starwars marathon. We all know Starwars, the universe created by George Lucas. It started with comics and movies, now they’re writing books and making video games! But I plan to cover all of that in my Starwars marathon. If?there’s anything Starwars that you want to hear about, just comment or contact us to tell us what you want to hear. In the next paragraph, I am going to tell you when Starwars was?first started and what it started as. Did it start as a comic or a movie?

The Starwars series was actually only going to be one movie, but then George Lucas thought that he needed more movies to describe the Starwars universe fully. He was then going to make two more trilogies and add two more movies to the current?trilogy he was already writing. So in reality, he was writing the middle story and planning to write the beginning and end trilogies later. Now?I know most of you are saying that there are only two trilogies, and you’re right. George must have decided that he only needed two trilogies because of the popularity that grew when people began writing comics and books about his hit movie series. And if you must know, Starwars started out as a movie (A New Hope) released on May 25, 1977. As of 2008, the six Starwars movies alone generated a box office revenue of approximately $4.3 billion. Thus making it the third highest grossing film series, behind only the James Bond and Harry Potter series.

Now isn’t that a shocker, 4.3 billion dollars. And that’s not even including the books, comics, multiple TV series and video games! That’s just the six movies! And I can tell you that the books, comics, multiple TV series and video games probably made him 2 billion dollars. That would be my guess. Which means that he probably has enough money to give a dollar to every person in the world. That’s?6.3 billion dollars folks, imagine what you could do with 6.3 billion dollars. That’s my guess of what he made, what’s yours??If you think he made more or less, please don’t hesitate to reply or contact us to tell us your guess. And?may the force be with you.

The information I found was from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars, and it was very helpful. For much more information, just go to Wikipedia and type in “Starwars”.
