In this post I will continue with the Crazy Goggles Tour. In the last post I covered the subscribe button, the search button and various other features included in this site. Now, though, I will write about the links section. Oh boy, this is going to be long. I might not even be able to fit all this into one post! I might have to make this a three or four part deal. I’ll try to squeeze in as much as possible though. It’s just there’s too much good stuff in those sites, so I’ll have to cover it all! So sit back and prepare to view pure awesomeness, in the form of links.
First I’ll do the links pertaining to the first category. The “Pages” links. First there’s the “About” button. It has a brief description about what Crazy Goggles is about. I really need to update that. It’s a short three sentence description, with one link to contact us. If you would like to contact us go to any of the following pages using any of the various links I will list. You can go to the description page and click the contact us button. Or you can just click the “Contact? Us” button under the pages category. Or just go to http://crazygoggles.com/?page_id=6. Did you see what I just did? I took an unnecessary small task and turned it into a three sentence directory guide. With three links! It’s called “spreading the word”. Pretty clever huh?
Now I will go over the “Contact Us” page. Here you can contact us here at Crazy Goggles. You can tell us what you would like to see?on the site. Or what you don’t want to see on the site, it doesn’t really matter. Actually it does matter but I just said it didn’t matter. Because there’s actually a very big difference between caring and not caring what’s on our site. Or wanting something on the site and not wanting something on the site. IT’S A BIG DEAL . WITH A BIG DIFFERENCE. IT DOES MATTER! I just made you laugh didn’t I? Well stop laughing! I mean it stop! Last chance buddy. Okay, you’re asking for it. Never mind on that last part. You can go on with your business. You apparently you have a very strong left hook that I didn’t know about.
The “Contact Us” page. I explained it earlier. Now I’ll explain the buttons pertaining to the page. See how I made that sentence sound smart? It tells your brain that I’m smart, even if I’m not. Anyway, the buttons on the contact page. We require your name, your email and the subject you are writing about. You can always put in a fake name and email, but that’s not recommended. You?could also put in your friends name, but they might get mad at you. So unless you want to wake up to a very lame but serious joke, I’d just stick with your name. It will then say “Your Message” below all the previous white boxes. It has a big white box for you to type in. Type what you want to say inside that box. Below that it says “Security Image” beside the white box. The little box that you input the numbers and letters you see is actually farther down the page. Once you do that just click the “Send Message” button. Now you’re done with that!
Below the contact page is the “Games” page. These are the games that I actually take the time to put on here. So far there’s only one game and it’s called Box Clever. In this game you use the keyboard and the mouse to kill all the little green blobs as your little blue blob tries to make it to the end of the level. This game is made by “The Game Homepage“. I have yet to try this site out, but I plan to. It seems to have a variety of games. It actually has a button where you submit your own game! The downside is that you have to create an account to do this. The?account?is?free and you get access to the forum. This site has thousands of free games AND games you can download. But we’re not here to talk about The Game Homepage. That’s AFTER the Crazy Goggles Tour.
In this paragraph I will give you a little tour of the “Privacy” page. In our privacy policy we will never sell or give out your personal information such as name, email etc. You will also only get emails pertaining to post and site updates if you are subscribed. We prevent spam using Feedburner. You can view their privacy policy here. Feedburner is part of Google. That means Feedburner’s privacy policy is the same as Google’s. To read our Privacy Policy go here. You can also view our Copyright here.
I told you I couldn’t fit all the links into one post! That just means you’ll have to continue the tour. Mwahaha! Now you have fallen into my trap! You will now have to continue reading to learn the secrets of Crazy Goggles. Or you can just find them out. I hadn’t thought of that. Well. Huh. I’m really stuck. I hadn’t thought of that. Oh well, let us continue with the CRAZY GOGGLES TOUR! In the next post.

In this post I will give you a tour of Crazy Goggles. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you’ve probably explored the whole site by now. If not, then here’s your chance.?I will go from top to bottom, or bottom to top. I might even do side to side! But for now, I think I’ll stick with top to bottom. Just so I don’t confuse you. Now before I get started I want to give you a description of Crazy Goggles. I know it says Miscellaneous Ramblings Of A School Kid, but that’s not entirely true. Well let me rephrase that, it’s not entirely true anymore. If you visit my first post (not my introductory one) you will see the difference between then and now. If you can’t, I strongly suggest getting glasses. Crazy Goggles talks about things I come across in everyday life. Examples include movies, video games, websites or even vacations! And I put the facts in my posts, and then give it a little humor. Because if I didn’t put any humor in here, you’d probably be asleep right now. Now that I’ve got that taken care of, I think I better get on with the tour. Follow me and please, don’t touch anything.
First is our picture. The classic robot with the butterfly. I think people might start to panic if we changed the picture, so I’ve left it that way. That’s happened to me?one time.?I went to?one of my favorite sites and they changed the picture! So I instantly left the site thinking that I had somehow visited the wrong page. So I won’t put you through that type of stress. You can click the word “Crazy Goggles” and it will bring you back to the main page if you’re lost. After that is our search button. From there you can search for any post on here. You don’t even have to capitalize it, just make sure to spell it right. Then you’ll be reading my prehistoric posts in no time! After our search button is our subscribe button. That’s just fun to say, “subscribe”. From here you can receive regular updates from Crazy Goggles when our posts come out. We have?a very secure system, so no spam or?junk will make it to your email.?No spam?has made it to my email?so far, and it never will. All you have to do is type in your email address and click the subscribe button. You will be taken to a separate page where you will have to type out?the word that?you see. It probably looks funny and is written in a different color. Say you see the word “Hello”. Then you would type the word “Hello” in the box below. It’s a safety feature that prevents spam. If you can not read the word, then you can click the little handicap button next to the entry box. A person will say a series of numbers and you have to type them in the box. But there will also be a bunch of annoying noises and jumbled voices so that it’s easier to prevent spam. I recommend turning up the volume for this option.
Below those are a list of sites and different things on Crazy Goggles. But that is another post entirely, so I’m going to talk about the posts. The posts are on the left next to all the ads and links. Throughout the post there are various links leading to different sites. Some of them lead to links I’ve put. There is an easy way to tell the two apart. Mine don’t have lines under them and the other links do. It’s that simple. At the end of the post there is a button so you can bookmark and share Crazy Goggles. I’m sure most of you are familiar with this button. You just click the button and then click the website that you would like to share bookmark Crazy Goggles on. Then there is an ad that is below that button, usually pertaining to the post. Sometimes there isn’t an ad at all. The ad might not?pertain to the post, such as ads for goggles or crazy socks. Finally below the ad there are the tags. If you click the tag it will take you to posts that have the same tags. You can also click on one of the “Posted In” buttons. If you click one of those buttons it will take you to posts that have been posted in the same category. Next to that is the comment button. You don’t need to be subscribed to comment on posts. You just have to put your name (the name that will appear next to the comments), you email (which is not displayed publicly) and your website. The website part is optional.
In my next post I will continue my tour of Crazy Goggles. Crazy Goggles has so much stuff on it that I can’t fit it into one post. Now I bet you’re wondering what in the crap Crazy Goggles is actually about! It’s about me enlightening you about things I come across. So I inform you of my wonderful adventures and more. So I hope you enjoy these posts because I spend hours tossing and turning in my bed thinking of my next post. Come back next time and continue the?CRAZY GOGGLES TOUR!

Today we will discuss the website Pandora Radio. Last week I said that I would talk about the different features of Pandora, so I will. Now if you’re one of those people who were just browsing the Internet and came across this site then let me fill you in. Pandora Radio is a website where you create your own radio stations. There you go, you’re?caught up?now. That’s?the basic part about it, you’ll have to keep reading to learn some more about it.?You?won’t even be caught up if you just read this post though.?Ha ha ha! Now?you’ll just have to read my previous post to find what you missed out on.?In this post I will cover the features of Pandora Radio. These features include editing your profile, adding stations and even sharing music!
I think I’ll start out by telling you how you can edit your profile. You have to create a profile to do this feature as you might have guessed. Pandora is free so you can create a free account. To create an account ?just click the little register button in the top right corner. They’ll ask you for your email address, age and for you to create a password. Once you’ve done that you click the “your profile” button. Once there you will see a word that says “Bio”. Next to it there will be a small button that says edit. Click it. Once there you can edit your profile at your leisure. Make sure to click the “save changes” button at the bottom of the page after you’re done.
Next I will tell you how to add a station. You can just click the “Create a New Station” button above your station list. You can also?go to the “About the Music” button and click the “Find an Artist” or the “Find a Song” button. If you’re using the second option, then keep reading. If not, then keep reading anyway. After you’ve clicked either?the “Find an Artist” or “Find a Song” buttons then you type in the artist or song you’re looking for. To make it easier when you’re searching for a song, try typing the artist after the song. An example would be typing Worth It All by Disciple. You don’t have to use correct capitalization, but at least try to spell it right.
Now I will tell you how to share stations. There are a few ways to do this. One way is to post the song or station on your Facebook wall. To do this, just click the Facebook icon above that is above your playing song. Or you can tweet about it by clicking the Twitter icon above your playing song. I don’t use either of these because I don’t have an account for either of them. I use the “Email song or station” button. To do this you click the icon with the envelope above your playing song. You can only share the current song that is playing. That’s a big con about this feature, so just make sure to share on the songs you like. Anyway, back to the topic. Once you’ve clicked the envelope button, just type in the person’s email address. If you want to send that song to more than one person then type their email address’s separated by commas. You can then attach your personal message after that. Attaching a personal message is optional, but you might want to so those people don’t end up deleting it because they think it’s spam.
Now before I end this post I’m going to tell you a little about the account button. When you click the account button it shows some important information. Some of that information includes how many listening hours you have left, your email and if you’re allowing explicative content at the moment. It also shows your gender, zip code and birth year. You input this information when signing up. Another thing I should mention is that you can change your profile name. When you sign up, your email address is your user name. At the “Edit Profile” page you can change your user name without changing any sign up information. This helps personalize your profile a little.
I just covered some basic features of Pandora in this post. There are many other features that you’re just going to have to figure out. Pandora is a helpful program, but it’s not the best out there. I have yet to test any other ones out, but I will be sure to let you know if I find any better ones. In the mean time,?make sure to set up that account. Go seek out friends, share music and have fun!

Today we will discuss the website Pandora. Pandora is a online radio where you can create your own station that has music by the artist or song you put in. An example would be creating a Green Day radio station. That station would then play songs by Green Day or ones similar to Green Day. That’s the simple version of it, but I will torment you with the detail of Pandora! Hahaha! Now, let us discuss the pros and cons of Pandora in the next paragraph.
First, the pros. You can listen to up to 40 hours of music in a month, I guess that’s also a con. But it’s free! And you have the choice of paying $36 per year to get more advantages and no commercials. Commercials, that’s a big con of Pandora. Almost every time you create a station, you have to wait for the 15-30 second commercial to end so you can listen to your music! On the flip side, that’s better than paying for your music. Another pro is that you can create multiple stations and add variety to them, like having a Green Day station and a Black Eyed Peas station! Or you could mix a Relient K station and with the variety of P.O.D!? A con, and this has nothing to do with what I just listed, no rewind button! I mean what Internet radio station doesn’t give you a rewind button?
You can also share your different stations by using Facebook, Twitter or just by emailing it to your friends. You can have up to one hundred stations at a time. That means creating one hundred stations with your favorite artists, songs, or ones with similarities. And you can customize it by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down button when a song is playing. Meaning if they play a song you don’t like on one of your stations, they won’t ever play that song again on that station. And they’ll try not to play songs with similarities to that song. Or if you click the thumbs up button, they’ll search for songs that have similarities to that song. An example of that would be if they played some 80’s song on a hard rock station that you created and you clicked the thumbs down button, they wouldn’t play any songs (or at least try not to) with any similarities to that song. Or if they played a hard rock song on your hard rock station and you liked the song, then you would give it a thumbs up and Pandora would search for songs to play like that one!
Now, let’s list some of the drawbacks. One, there is no rewind button. I pretty much covered my disappointment of that earlier, didn’t I? No? Well what station doesn’t? Ha ha very funny. It’s not nice to play jokes on people like that and I bet you think I’m crazy now don’t you? Well I have something to tell you, I’m going to get back to topic now! That’s right. I just ended our debate! What now? Also, you can’t go to an artist or song right away. You have to wait for them to appear in your station queue. I found that out trying to search for a song I really like and it created a station instead! Also, you can only skip 6 songs an hour. And you only have 40 hours a month to listen to music! After that, you have to pay 99 cents for the rest of the month. Or you can just go the rest of the month without listening to Pandora. There’s also the option of paying $36 for a year of unlimited listening hours. I’ll cover the different features of Pandora in the next post.
In this post I just talked about the pros and cons of some of the features of Pandora. To listen to Pandora, just go to www.pandora.com.?I almost forgot, another feature is that you can find people and add them as friends on Pandora. So, seek out your friends, share music lists and have fun.

Today we will discuss the many benefits of eating vegetables. I got this idea from my pen pal, because he eats organic like me. And there’s another thing too, organic. More people should eat organic. But that’s a different post entirely. The problem we face today is our kids not eating enough vegetables. As a kid, you should eat plenty of vegetables. But you don’t, now do you? You just scream and complain until you get what you want, and what you want is a candy bar for dinner. And you should probably eat those vegetables raw, since when you cook them almost all of the nutrients drain out. So if you’re cooking carrots and peas, just let your kids eat raw. It’s better for them.
We all know vegetables are good for us, but why don’t we eat them? You think that only kids don’t like vegetables, but you’ll be surprised how many adults don’t eat their vegetables either. I can’t give you a confirmed?percentage, but I can give you an estimate. I’d probably say 35-45 percent of adults don’t eat their vegetables. Just because they have more freedom, and they want to just grab something off of the dollar menu at McDonalds. And it’s surprising just to see how many websites have ways to get their kids to eat vegetables. If you type in “how to get your kids to eat vegetables” or any related topic you’ll find page upon page of how to get your kids to eat vegetables. It’s sad to see that you might have to resort to the Internet just to get your kid to eat vegetables.
There are many benefits to eating vegetables, but why don’t we eat them? I honestly can’t give you an answer to that question. I personally love most vegetables that go on my plate, and if a twelve year old can like vegetables, then an adult should too. I mean come on! Really, how hard is it to just eat a carrot every day? Or an apple, or any other fruit? And if my little brother can pick up five carrots and a stalk of celery and eat it, then you should be able to do that too. Most parents have to resort to sneaking vegetables into their child’s meal to get them to eat it.
I keep saying vegetables, but why not fruit? Well that’s just because most people like fruit. It’s just that simple. If they don’t like oranges, then it’s going to be bananas. If it’s not apples, then it’s grapes. If not lemons, then limes. It’s just that most kids like fruits more than vegetables, and I am no exception. I would take an apple over a carrot any day, but I still eat carrots.
While at my home co-op, we all had to gather for a health conference before we could go play in the gym. Standard sit for a hour then go play. And while we were there, the health lady pointed something out to me that I didn’t know. She said?that most vegetables look like a part of the body. Let me give you an example. They say carrots are good for the eyes, right? Well if you bite into a carrot and look, you’ll see there are rings that go around it. That’s similar to the eye. I’m just going off of what the lady said when she said that the carrot rings look like the inside of your eye. And I’m no eye doctor, so I can’t give you all the correct names for the parts of the eye, but chances are you’ll know what I’m talking about. There’s the white part, then the part of the eye where the color is (brown eyes, blue eyes etc.) and then there’s the pupil. Similar to the carrot, there’s one ring, then another, and then the center. And there might be more rings, I haven’t take the time to count all the rings when I eat a carrot, but you get the idea.
Carrots are good for the eyes, but what about everything else? We all eat carrots and apples and broccoli, the usual. But have you ever eaten kale, or spinach? I’ve eaten both, and I’ve had better. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat them. Kale is supposed to be really good for the brain, and well, you’ve probably all seen Popeye the Sailor Man. Where he eats the can of spinach and instantly gets strong. No? Well it’s about this guy named Popeye who has a pipe in his mouth all the time and, well, you just need to watch it to know what I’m talking about. But spinach is really good for you too. Just dump a little salt and pepper on the kale and?you’ll be fine. And for spinach, just dump?salt, pepper,?melt some cheese and?chew?really fast and you’ll?be fine.
Now I like vegetables and fruits, so I can’t really tell you what it’s like to not want to eat your vegetables. But you should. I even played the part of the?parent who’s trying to inform everybody about the?advantages of eating vegetables. And if that doesn’t get you, I don’t know what will. But seriously,?you should eat your vegetables. I don’t just?write one thousand words and expect you not to take my?advice! Eat your vegetables man! They’re good for you, now grab a spoon and start shoveling those vegetables into your mouth!?Don’t choke yourself though, I don’t need the hospital bills. Just eat your vegetables?kids.
