Mother’s Day |
Today we will discuss Mother’s Day. I don’t know when you’re reading this, but I’m writing it on Mother’s Day. So if you read this a week from now, at least you know when I wrote it. I was SUPPOSED to write about the third part of the Crazy Goggles Tour. But you know what? I decided Mother’s Day was more important. Mother’s Day more important than a blog tour? No way! You see,?we all learn something new each day. And I would just like to take this opportunity to wish my mom a happy Mother’s Day! We took her out to eat and gave her a present too. Man, what a good son I am. I mean my other brothers and dad helped too. I mean, who has to include them though? I’m kidding. My brothers are very special, even if they annoy the crap out of me some days. Just like my father, only minus the “annoying the crap out of me” part. He works his flipping butt off to provide for us and he holds a special place in my heart. Right there with my brothers and mom. In the next few paragraphs I won’t be describing the origin of Mother’s Day, but what mothers do for US. And by the way, that “US” does not?stand for the United States. Just in case you were wondering.?
I think there’s only one REALLY important question to ask yourself right now. And no, it’s not if you can get the high score on Halo 3 on Xbox Live. The question is, “What does YOUR mom mean to YOU?”. Is she the person that kisses your cuts when you fall off your bike? Or the person that comes home from work everyday exhausted but still loves you? While you think about what your mom means to you, I’ll tell you what my mom means to ME. My mom is caring. Thoughtful. Helpful. Cheerful. Always needs a cup of coffee in the morning. She’s all of those things and more. She kisses my cuts when I make a mistake and cheers me on when I’m failing. She gives me the imaginary medal when I succeed and tells me how great I’m doing when I’m succeeding. She fixes my mistakes and shows them to me. She helps me succeed and is my foundation. Thank you for being there mom, I love you. Always.
That’s what my mom means to me. What does your mom mean to you? Post a reply to answer my question. I’ll even?read it to?everyone on here if you suggest it in the reply. Or if you’re older, maybe it’s your wife you’re celebrating today. You should tell her how good she is at being a mother. Or if you don’t have kids, tell her how great of a mother she WOULD be. And don’t just treat her special today, treat her special EVERY day. Just make it EVEN more special when it’s Mother’s Day. Mothers help us get through life. They cook our meals, clean the house, wash the dishes and wash our dirty laundry. Most of the time. My dad cooks and cleans, washes the dishes too! I know how to do those things, so most of my mom’s time is spent breaking up the fights. I don’t see how she can put up with the arguing, fussing, fighting and generally everything we throw at her. She’s the best you could ask for. If you can’t see your mom is doing this, look harder. She’s doing it, you just don’t know it. She’s always there for you. No matter what. Always in your heart, mind and spirit. Always.
